Throwback Thursday

I can hardly believe this was four and half years ago, nor how much weight I have lost since these were taken. I feel like I am almost in a constant battle with my weight lately falling so easily off the healthy eating wagon. I had lost 3 stone since these were taken, sadly put half of that back on in the last year. I am back at slimming world though and back in the gym and hoping for a good weight loss this week or at the very least less inches!

In respect of the layout  design I have used this format a couple of times now, including the page below that I taught at Eclectic Keepsakes crop in the same year.  My time sure does fly!

Throwback Thursday

Here is my Throwback Thursday image for this chilly day!  I can't believe I created this layout of my Ellie and her crazy friends last June, it seemed far more recent to me. I do love layouts that feature geometric shapes repeating and have been reminded I have a larger triangle die that I have as yet to play with. Think that might make a creative appearance this weekend when I plan to play along with this months ATDML goodies. I also love this grey/teal/yellow mix and should use it more often.

Next weekend sees another virtual crop with my design team companions and I am teaching a fun interactive page with a spooky feel (although the papers aren't Halloween that is just how I have chosen to use them!). Pop over to Created by ATDML and find our more how you can get prepared for our online creative day.

Love is Good

Sharing a quick page I designed using Teresa Collins Papers for the ATDML Design team galley. I loved this gold pattern paper so much that I couldn't bare to use it all in one go so I have only used an 8"x12" piece here AND gutted behind where the photo goes so I had plenty left to use on a small pocketbook I designed to go with it. Whilst I cover a fair amount up on my home page there is plenty visible inside.

More photos from this pocket book and featuring creations from the design team using Teresa Collins papers can be found here.

ScrapMates November pages

Sharing two layouts this evening that I created for my Enfield ScrapMates crop today.
The first was inspired by a page I saw on Pinterest but I cannot for the life of me find it now to link back and credit - so if you see this originator, thank you for the inspiration.

Features a photo of my brother and I taken around 35 years ago which I simply love.

The second page came from a sheet of 12x12 Pink Paislee paper and we used the various elements on the page to create this pegged out look.

These are photos from the book trail the kids and I did in the Summer. Next on our list is the Paddington trail that is in London now.

Art Every Day month

I am joining in with Art Every day month and will so much craftiness these last few days I have plenty to share.

Saturday Nov 1st I taught my Prima Coffee Break class at the ATDML retreat which saw a class using spray ink and distress stains on their pages. Here are my class layouts.

My Sunday Nov 2nd Class was using Websters Pages and was less inking messy and more cutting out and sticking! I saw lots of lovely versions of these layouts with a variety of photo sizes and delegates making the most of the diverse range of cards and stickers available.

Monday 3rd Nov I made  start on my 6"x8" Snap Album to scrapbook my weekend away at the retreat. This is my front page featuring even more splats!

Plenty more to share after another crafty day tomorrow with Enfield ScrapMates!

A Week in the Life - day 7 (the final!) & AEDM

Sunday saw the last day of me capturing me week in photographs and I was still away scrapbooking with the ATDML crew. Here is a time shot of my crazy day

00:00-05:30 awake crafting
05:30-09:30 sleeping zzzzz!
09:30-18:30 crafting/teaching/laughing
18:30-20:00 travelling to visit mum in hospital
20:00-21:00 driving home
21:00-23:30 family time/tv (Arrow S3E1!)
23:30-23:59 sleeping x

Plenty of artiness over the weekend which leads in nicely to my mentioned AEDM (Art Every Day Month) with Leah. I joined in last year on and off with this using photography mostly as my art form. this year I am planning on combining scrapbooking, cardmaking, photography, sewing and maybe others! Using the #AEDM2014 I will share here, on Facebook and on my Instagram account so I look forward to sharing a more creative month with you!
